this is Jenni’s late border collie kero that i had the pleasure of making into a plush. (go check out her art blog and adorable blog about her bird)
This is plush was made by the ever lovely Channing.
My dog Kero passed away unexpectedly on the 27th and I commissioned this in his memory. I’m so happy that I did as he turned out gorgeous ;;
The long fur is perfect and I adore his tail as that’s exactly how his tail looked irl. His face is also really precious and just everything looks so wonderful. A super big thank you for doing this for me and I really appreciate it so much!
You should definitely check out Channing’s blog sewgoods because there is just so much amazing skills displayed there. Everything looks so professional!

Kind of drew this to test out my tabletpc, which is really fun but also incredibly challenging. I love sai though and I wish it was mac compatible because I would wave goodbye to photoshop.

Your colours look better than the original, which looks sort of rushed and splotchy. So wow! Not art but lately I’ve been getting into building model kits. I now want to learn how to paint them because decals look silly sometimes.
I decided to paint one of my starly figures in it’s shiny colours and I think it turned out pretty well for my first try. So here is my paint of the left with an original on the right.

I’m not sure how much help I will be about this stuff, as I actually studied design at Billy Blue College in Sydney.
I didn’t realise fine art and illustration were separate things until after I finished college ): So I only know of Enmore Tafe that has an illustration course in Sydney.
I do have some friends in other states that did illustration courses so there must be more available!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’m so glad you like them :D There will probably be more as they’re really fun to draw, but it’ll kind of just happen when it happens as I prefer not to force it haha. I have a few other illustration ideas that I’d like to get around to :) However Issac is actually my favourite puppy in that group pic. I’m really happy with his puppy face!
